Safety Instructions – WeEarth JF6001B

Please read this manual carefully and follow the instructions before using the device for the first time.

  • Children or individuals with disabilities should only use the device under supervision or not at all.

  • Ensure that your socket’s voltage matches the rated voltage of the food waste recycler before use.

  • Place the recycler on a flat surface during operation. Maintain a distance of at least 15 cm from all walls to ensure proper ventilation. Operate the device in a well-ventilated room.

  • Do not immerse the power cord or plug in water or other liquids to avoid the risk of electric shock.

  • Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of tables or counters, and avoid contact with hot surfaces.

  • Keep the device away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as ovens and stoves.

  • To avoid burns, do not open the lid or touch the surface of the device while it is in operation.

  • When clearing jams, never use hands or fingers. Always turn off and unplug the device before maintenance.

  • Do not immerse the entire device in water. The bucket may be rinsed with water.

  • Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using highly acidic or alkaline cleaners to prevent corrosion or discoloration.

  • Unplug the device when not in use or when adding/removing components (e.g., filters).

  • When not in use, keep the device in a clean environment with the lid closed to prevent foreign objects from entering.

  • Only use column-shaped activated carbon with a diameter of 4 mm or more. Using smaller granules may damage the fan and cause device failure.

  • Do not use the device for any purposes other than its intended use. Do not modify or alter it in any way.

  • Only use accessories recommended or supplied by the manufacturer. Use of third-party accessories may void warranty and damage the device.

Children and vulnerable persons:

  • This appliance may be used by children aged 8 and above, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved.

  • Children must not play with the appliance.

  • Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children under 8 years old unless supervised.

  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8.

Electrical safety:

  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified personnel.

  • Use only the original accessories provided with the unit to avoid hazards to the user or the appliance.

  • Warning: Risk of injury due to misuse. Handle sharp blades with care when emptying or cleaning the unit.

  • Turn off and unplug the appliance before replacing accessories or interacting with moving parts.

  • The appliance is not designed to be operated with an external timer or remote-control system.

Thermal and burn hazards:

  • Accessible parts become hot during use. Do not touch hot surfaces during operation or for 60 minutes after use.

  • Use oven mitts if necessary. Hot steam may escape from the rear of the device—keep face and hands clear.

  • Keep the lid closed during the composting process. The resulting compost can also be very hot—use caution when removing it.

Fire safety:

  • Do not place the appliance near flammable materials, walls, or in corners.

  • Maintain at least 15 cm clearance on all sides.

  • Do not block the ventilation slots.

  • Place the appliance on a heat-resistant, stable, flat, non-slip, and dry surface to ensure airflow beneath the unit.
